It’s SIMR, so above the 2300/3.9/decent EC line, I’d say it’s essentially a crapshoot. (Of course, that rather describes the freshman admissions process at a certain institution as well.) Your stats seem decent - wouldn’t worry too much if I were you.

Rec from AP Physics teacher: Decent. Not sure how it factors in SIMR admissions or compares to that of others.
Overall I probably don’t hold a candle to most SIMR applicants, especially the Bay Area ones.

Are the notifications going to be released just generally on Friday or is there a specific time?
@dearestcurry They said notifications would be released around 5 pm tomorrow. I’m assuming the notifications can come anywhere from 4:30 to 5:15. I read through the last year’s thread, and that’s what they did.

Last year, most people who were accepted got calls. A few got emails of acceptance. Those rejected got only emails. Everyone gets an email in case u don’t have ur phone when they call
