Hi. I am a incoming transfer student to COE for non-EECS major. Neither Material science nor Nuclear. So, can’t do joint major with chemE
I am just curious about what is like the requirement for declaring simultaneous degree in CoC for Chemical Engineering.
Can someone who has done it before or who knows the process tell me about it?
What GPA to be competitive?
I also made all course plan, and I was able to make a plan to finish degree in five semester including 2 summer sessions.
My interest toward ChemE has increased significantly as I took more Chemistry class and was in research having cooperation with chemical engineering department as well. I am not a community college student, I am from another top ten engineering school with perfect 4.0 gpa with mostly A+. Please Don’t ask why I am transferring. I am in state for Cal. Though I am aware classes at Cal are difficult, I am sure that class difficulties difference can’t be too big that I am going to have hard time even getting 3.0 GPA.
I know I would most likely be doing minor instead.
However, why don’t I give a shot?
Thanks.
