Hi all! Just wanted to know: what is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Any reason why (family tradition, etc.)?

Hi all! Just wanted to know: what is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Any reason why (family tradition, etc.)?

Here's mine: homemade cranberry sauce.

Stuffing! I love my grandmother’s recipe, which includes pecans.

Stuffing all the wayyyyy. I could actually live on stuffing.

mashed potatoes mmmmmm

For me, it’s a close tie between oyster stew and mashed potatoes.

southern sweet potato pie. nomnomnom.

My mama’s cornbread dressing and I am getting a big serving tomorrow!

Cornbread dressing is definitely the best! Unfortunately, I live in Yankeeland and won’t have any tomorrow. I think I’m going to do my best to make some myself for Christmas.

Mashed potatoes are the best! I’ve literally made a meal of them before

Stuffing with gravy!

I’m a vegetarian, and I think my favorite part is the next day sandwiches- a really good crusty bread spread with mashed potatoes, then a thick slice of tofurkey, covered in cranberry sauce.

Oh man, I’m hungry just thinking about it. No tofurkey this year though, staying with relatives.

Mashed potatos with gravy. I could eat just about anything that’s decorated with gravy… anything
