It got a 5 on the AP Studio Art exam--and I'm going to school for Art, so this is a huge part of my application. I did Studio Art my Junior year, and so I still have a couple months to refine my portfolio for portfolio day in the fall.

sounds like ure in to me... whats up, hows life? where else did u apply?

Sounds pretty solid for the School of Art- if anything, your grades (Bs in honors classes) will be your only weekness. Very impressive EC and standardized test scores, however. How competative is your high school? Has anyone else in your grade replied? What are the average stats for the School of Art (I am more familiar with Arts and Sciences where I applied ED II)? I would be surprised if you didn't get in. Good luck!

life is fluctuating...

I applied in order of want to attend, Wash U, Skidmore, NYU, MICA, Grinnell, Macalester, SUNY Purchase

You have to like get into the school as a whole before you get passed into a more specific division. So I think if i can slip by the first step the school of art will want me...hopefully...

the reason I get B's in honors classes is because they are the ones that give you the pointless idiotic assignments that I could care less about, the one's AP assigns are not so inane...hence the better grades. sigh.
