<p>I have been accepted to all UC's that I applied to (SB, SD, Irv) except UCLA as a transfer student. </p>

<p>3.59 English Major (Iranian Studies Alt for LA)
TAG/TAP student
Honors
App had maximum ECs, volunteer, and work history
Essays were really well written</p>

<p>I have appealed my UCLA Iranian Studies major because they told me that I did not have a course that I do have. I am not sure what my chances are for that but does anyone know when the answers come out?</p>

<p>On another note, I am aiming for dental school (I decided to go to dental school very recently, don't ask lol) and I will most likely be going to UCSB. If I were to go to UCSB, should I change my major to Middle Eastern Studies so that I could complete all the dental school requirements at the same time?</p>

<p>Is it difficult to complete an English major and prep for dental school?</p>

<p>pre-dent is just a list of courses that you have to take (check out the predent forum on cc). Dental schools won’t care whether your coursework is from LA or SB. Dent schools won’t care about major.</p>

<p>Whether it is difficult for you to fulfill the science courses depends on how many courses you have already completed towards the major.</p>
