Likely to be at least National Merit Semifinalist, if not higher

Extracurriculars

-Co-President of National Honors Society
-4 Years of Knowledge Bowl (captain senior year, lettered freshman year)
-4 years of involvement with Theater
-HOBY Ambassador

-Just started a part-time job a couple weeks ago that I plan to continue through the school year
-2 years Band
-3 years intermittent involvement with Pep Band (it was cut freshman year, so we turned it into kind of an underground thing)
-1 year Spanish Club
-1 year Debate
(Don't know that I'll put the last two on my apps cuz it was freshman year and I really didn't do much (will they help?))

So, what do you think? Is Stanford a possibility for me?

you're EC's won't distance you from anyone much, but your numbers are great...
Keep the debate/spanish club off the app, just looks like lack of commitment/resume padding
right now for an early app, its a toss up

I had similar stats to yours and I got in (you had slightly better scores, I had slightly better grades). But I've seen people with better stats than mine and yours get rejected, also. The more subjective things, like essays and recs, will be very important to your application.

yea ur essays and recs matter a lot.. stats are great tho.. u have a very good shot
