Hello guys

This is my first time posting on the CC.

I am thinking of transferring to some schools.

Here are my spec:

I went to community college in Chicago.

GPA: 3.60

Credit: 60 (It seems I filled pre-req for UIUC except Cal2 )

Few awards ( like president and dean kinda things)

I'm Asian and for now my visa status is terminated because I finished the school on May 2009.

I applied two schools ; 1. UIUC , 2. IUB (both failed to get in)

MY high school grades looks good but there are no special activities. (like club, volunteer works, also I graduated high school in Korea.)

Option 1
I'm applying to SUNY, Rutgers, and CUNY (Business majors, maybe economics) for Spring 2010

Option 2
However, It seems these are not satisfying for me. I don't mean these schools are bad.

At least I want to give myself more choices or options when I'm choosing Undergraduate Colleges.

So I'm concerning applying better schools for Fall 2010 semester with TOEFL and SAT scores.

(After the failure of UIUC and IUB, I'm currently staying in Korea)

Questions.

Will option 2 present me a better future or at least give me more chance to choose variety of colleges?

By the way, what month do I usually submit SAT scores?

P.S I have lived the U.S for three years, but I was never active about my own future and goals. If option 2 can bring me a change and present better opportunities i'll go for it.

Thanks for reading it.
