Sincerely Asking for Advice, regarding with Bizecon

I've been accepted to UCLA's Pre Business/Economics. Just wondering, how hard is it to go from Pre Biz-econ to the legit Biz-econ? I heard theres this 3.3 primary score requirement, but I dont know what's that... Also, it also says that we need a 3.3 overall GPA on our pre-courses, with nothing less than a C. I'm really worried that I might not get the scores I want and end up with courses I don't like.. With that, I would like to ask about the grade curves in UCLA; is it tough? Also, if we are to fulfill all the requirements, will we be automatically be accepted into the course?

I take IB Economics HL, not sure if that helps. Can I use it to exempt some course credits?

I really need help, I like a lost sheep in a middle of a desert...

Forgot to mention, I am also accepted to Emory (not in Goizueta yet) as well as USC's Marshall.

go to econ.ucla.edu → undergraduate → bizecon.

The 3.3 primary score is just a GPA variation that weights certain classes more than others. It’s really not that hard to do it - you just can’t completely be a **** off. Other than that, if you do fail to ake it in, just do what everyone else does the do regular econ. Grade curves aren’t tough. The curve only helps in all of the classes I’ve been in. (Remember, most teachers, especially the one’s for lower division classes, aren’t tenured yet, so they want the students to do reasonably well so that they get good reviews so that can get job security)
