sigh spoken like a true Rafflesian… Oh wells…

Anyway I’m going to email each uni I applied to individually to ask them I guess ha

But I am not from Raffles :p.

Good idea as well - should have done that, in fact.

Is it necessary to send the official transcripts to them immediately? I always thought it’s all right if they reached some time after decisions day? (e.g. in Frank’s case)

Anyway, I must be the only one who’s voluntarily not going to collect my A Level results tomorrow… Too busy lol… they also want me to return outstanding books and pay $11.00 of library fines first, but one of the books I borrowed is important for my research. So I’ll wait till I’ve finished writing notes from the book first. And I seriously hate queuing for my results with everyone, so I’ll wait till a few weeks later to quietly collect it.

^ tsk tsk you’re missing out on all the excitement!

Regarding score sending, I think one should sent his/her results if it’s helpful (e.g. straights As or maybe one B). I don’t think it matters much in the grand scheme of things but showing the colleges you’ve done well for A levels can’t hurt, can it?

^Lol, totally. But I prefer to know all of my results at one go, so even if it’s bad, I can settle down and think clearly - April 2 sounds like the best day to collect my results.

Yeah, you have a point, but I’ve a very strong feeling that my results are worse than my predicted grades (they can’t become better anyway…), won’t it be worse to show them the ‘string of Bs’ before they’ve announced the decisions? D:

Anyone with SG accent? wah , ah eh?

Frank: if you’re not from Raffles then where are you from?

Anyway I don’t think what he said was elitist.

oh and I’m sending my results although I got in ED. Apparently Penn still wants them.

The other one at Bukit Timah Road =p

Ah. I was from across the road/canal.

None. We’re all atas Singaporeans. :)

hey guys… how much to A level results really matter? I mean, can a University revoke their acceptance if you screw up?? 3 hours to go and boy am i Nervous!

oh and I didnt apply with predicted grades, used O level grades instead…

They can - but if you didn’t apply with predicted grades I doubt they will.

Now you’re making me freak out. What kind of grades will make them revoke your acceptance? Assuming predicted grades were straight As…

omg I’d die if I had my acceptance revoked. I withdrew all my other apps! I’d be screwed.

Well, then probably if you got a string of "C"s or something. It isn’t that easy to revoke your offer to admissions.

good luck to everyone! remember that though your grades might define where you go for uni, what course you study, what scholarship you get, and (indirectly) your first job… they do not define you.

Apparently hwach topped the A Levels here this year. So screwitlah’s postulations aren’t exactly spot on. Haha.

Did we? That’s news to me :p

Haha yeah… I got distinction for everything except chinese… Quite shocked that H3 got distinction cuz when i went for exams, over 80% of the ppl were RJ/HC… Yay… Dunno whether I should go through the mafan and trouble to send them my results…

^You’re also from VJ aren’t you? Are you one of the names posted up?
