Those questions are much better answered through your own research via Googling, posting in immigration-specific forums and reading the USCIS site.

Yes you can buy cars, have phones and property on visas.

alright i’ll check those out later then.

last question though, is it possible to get into a decent college with ONLY SAT scores ?? assuming i get decent scores, of course.

thankss!!

anybody ?

thanks!

Most of the issues regarding immigration you will do well to speak to an US-based immigration lawyer. I think we are all out of our depth here.

Define decent colleges and decent scores. If we take the Top 25 research universities in US News as “decent”, then nope, you cannot - not even if you get 2400s.

purdue ? that’s the one i’m aiming for, pretty much.

don’t think its one of the top 25, or even 50.

reason i asked is because i don’t feel confident including my O level cert despite the results as one of the subjects was taken in the previous year (2007). from my perspective, i don’t think it looks good submitting 2 certs, coz i pretty much screwed up my other papers for that year…

decent scores being 1900-2000 ? i’m assuming thats for english and maths right (3 papers, 800 points per paper) ?? what about sciences, do i have to take those as well ??

No, all colleges will want to see high school work too. As others have said, these are not questions you will ge reliable answers to here.
