single choice early action

<p>i have conflicting thoughts on how i should use my SCEA. Should I shoot high (HYP) or try to have a good chance of being accepted to another school so as to have a "safety net" of sorts with a school that I would want to go to (instead of the poor in state schools).</p>

<p>Depends on your stats. If you are qualified, here's the best way at it:</p>

<p>ED to Princeton (highest acceptance rate by far)</p>

<p>that means you can still apply to all Early Action programs offered except for those at Harvard, Yale and Stanford. This leaves:</p>

<p>Gerogetown
U of Chicago
Rice</p>

<p>among others.</p>

<p>I'm in the same situation. I can either apply to:</p>

<p>Harvard SCEA
or
Georgetown and UChicago EA</p>

<p>My GPA's 3.88 UW (no improvement throughout HS), so.. not sure how that would fare for Harvard EA.</p>
