I'm sending in the paper application, and I was wondering if they wanted our essays doubled spaced because it's easier to read that way. I couldn't find anything about it in the instructions. Also, should each essay go on a separate sheet?</p>

<p>Mine are 1.5 spaced, seperate sheets. Double spaced looks excessive, in my opinion.</p>

<p>yes i asked the ad com and she said always single space. its easiest and saves paper for them. less chance of losing a second sheet or so.</p>

<p>when online, they give you the three boxes. should you make the first line of each box which option you are writing about? or what?</p>

<p>i just had an "oh ****" moment... i followed the directions on the Common App and put my name, birthday, and school name on each of the sheets, even the princeton supplement...</p>

<p>why do you have to put the question numbers on the essay? can't you just put the question itself?</p>
<p>Yea I didn't put numbers because the questions didn't have numbers.</p>
<p>so it doesn't matter whether you put your SSN or your birthday on the sheets?</p>
<p>You should put those in case they separate the sheets.</p>
