<p>Is there a way to request a single in the public dorms? I received the stuff a few days ago and I don't see this option.</p>
<p>I don't remember seeing this last year either, when son got in. I suspect they expect returning students will fill the few available singles, although I remember reading on CC about a freshman who got a single without requesting one. Your best bet is to call Res Halls and ask what you can do to try to get a single. I have called them this past year and have easily gotten to speak with a real person who could answer questions.</p>
<p>Check page 40 of the pack. It says that singles are available, but cost an additional $523.</p>
