Single rooms for freshmen at Washu?

I would really prefer a single room because I want to have my own bathroom for personal (but not medical) reasons. I have heard that, for freshmen, it is impossible at some schools and very difficult at others. What is the situation at Washu? I couldn’t find that on the housing part of their website.

Also, the social and/or financial part of it is not a concern for me right now. I just want to know if it’s possible.

There are some single rooms (Eliot A comes to mind) but I don’t know of any dorms where you could have your own bathroom.

Do you know if those single rooms are hard to get?

Also, would the bathroom at least be shared among just a few people?

I was always under the impression that single rooms are hard to get because there aren’t many of them. Yes, the bathroom would only be shared by a few people. If I remember correctly, the bathrooms in any modern dorm are shared by no more than 6 people and most are shared by 3-4. The bathrooms in traditional dorms are shared by the whole floor.

Both my WashU kids had no trouble getting single rooms their freshmen year. They shared the bathroom with one other person.

@green678 i am assuming your kids are twins or something becuase they are having singles together…what residential college did they have?
