wondering bout single dorms at NU.

I'm a social/outgoing person... love to go out, etc etc, but i have a problem with roommates. I do not accomodate well to another person's schedule/lifestyle nor do i think my schedule/lifestyle is easy to accomodate to. This is why a single dorm is a must for me- what's the NU policy on freshmen dorming in single rooms, and what are the chances of someone getting such a room if desired?

If you NEED a single, you can list plex first, but this WILL hurt your social life. Otherwise, it will be very hard to get one. I know some freshmen in singles this year, but it's all random. Sophomores get first picks for returning houses, so in Willard, all the sophomores who want a single will get one. If there are any left they go to freshmen. I don't remember if you can pref a single on your housing forms or not. Either way, don't count on it.

Plex is only open to upperclassmen (sophomores-seniors) next year. Policy change by Housing.

It's a good thing that I really don't want a single.
