Sinlge, Double, Triple Major? Minor Perhaps?

I am a poli sci major but I'm looking to add something maybe a second major or minor. I'm thinking Poli Sci and History both of which I'd love to do here at UCLA but I also like English. Anyone know of the possibility/reality of doing a triple major in Poli. SCi./English/History? Are there any classes that possibly count for all three? and if so, Are there many at UCLA. Have any of you done are planing on doing or are doing a triple major at another school? Last, if I can't add English can I do this: POliSCi/History with minor in English.

Mex, that sounds great, however, you will find that the requirements of both Englsh and History to be relatively extensive and a triple major would be impossible to complete within the units/time allowed. ;)

I can only speak for History and English.....since those are the two majors that I've investigated the requirements, however, I do know that there are no overlapping courses for English, just strictly, "English" upper div, yet I am not too clear on History. It struck me the same as being strictly, classes within their department and no overlap. I'll have to check again......

It seems that they discourage that..it's the impression I got. lol

I don't even think you can do a triple major, or even a double major with a minor. There is only a certain amount of units you can complete before you have to graduate. Check out this link for more info:

BTW, I'm in the same boat as you. I can't focus on just one major! At the moment I'm a communications studies major, but by looking at the catalog, I found another more to my liking, linguistics and psychology (combined). You should check out the catalog, or the differemt departments of political science, history, and english to see if they already have a combined major like this. If worse comes worse, you can always create your own major by doing and Individual Concentration major (check out the link
