So I appealed my admission decision to UCB. I know the chances are slim, but I wanted to give it a try. However since transfer SIR deadlines are approaching (June 1), I wanted to know if SIRing to another UC will affect the appeal. I plan to SIR to UCLA but if my appeal goes well would I still be able to go to UCB?
You need to SIR to UCLA until you hear from UCB which may be after June 1. If you are admitted to UCB, then you will loose your deposit at UCLA, but can SIR to UCB and withdraw your SIR from UCLA. Siring to UCLA will not affect your appeal.
