"Very rigorous" courseload - 7 APs by the time I graduated, the rest Honors except for some freshman courses. Also, an upward grade trend.
Lots of journalism-related ECS (school newspaper leadership, internships, state and national awards, blogging job) and lots of community service (100 hours at the Red Cross, literacy project, personal student tutoring, NHS, the whole shebang). Also play intramural bball and played JV lacrosse for two years.
My English teacher said my essay was "overflowing with a distinct voice."</p>
