What if you submitted your SIR to one UC, but then have changed your mind and want to attend some other UC school? IS there any way you can cancel your SIR??

Yes. Go back to the SIR page and resubmit telling them you do not want to attend. This is assuming that you have not sent a rejection sir to the school you want to attend.

I visited the SIR page and there is no links. It says, your SIR was received on...Any idea on what to do???

What school are you trying to change.

I think haybaxt is having berkeley fever.

aha...

You file the SIR with the school you want to go to; then you contact the school you had already submitted your SIR for and let them know that you are cancelling--you will lose the $100.

I am having some unknown fever, some might call it UCLArism !!!

can you really submit two sirs?

i wanted to do this, but someone who works at a uc said that the system would know and wouldnt let you, it would just take your first sir and automatically cancel the other ones. i havent sent my sir to ucla or berkeley yet. has anyone done this? does it actually work??

"it would just take your first sir and automatically cancel the other ones."

Wrong. The other schools still have their offers open after you submit a sir to one.

haybaxt, if you already submitted your SIR to ucla (am I right?) then what UC are you trying to get into if not Berkeley? Sorry, just a little confused...apparently I'm jumping to conclusions.

I submitted to UCLA, and have "almost" no regrets.

Oh. that's cool.

I guess I just assumed you were considering switching schools after reading, "What if you submitted your SIR to one UC, but then have changed your mind and want to attend some other UC school? IS there any way you can cancel your SIR??"

my bad.
