<p>So I just turned in my SIR to UCSC and made the payments, but I didn't get any confirmation mail yet, and when I log into my ucsc panel there's still an option for me to pay my fees when I go back to the page, is this normal?</p>
<p>Yeah I have the same problem... but I do not think it is a problem now that it happened to you too. I turned in my SIR today as well and got no email. Can someone confirm this is normal?</p>
<p>Yeah, me too. I heard somewhere from students who applied last year that this is normal, and that it will change.</p>
<p>I have one question though... I got to the step where I payed, and then I said OK or something, and then it said I timed out. Is there anything after the step where you pay?</p>
<p>yeah, i think there's a page where you view your summary of your payments, and then click Finish.</p>

<p>I just opened my ucsc page up and that is what it says as well. Looks like they did not make you place a deposit. We're all set!</p>

<p>mine also says "you have completed" etc. On the payments page, it had said all zero's, so maybe it is because of applying for financial aid? Still feel kind of uncertain since I was really expecting to pay the deposit as part of the SIR process.</p>
<p>i accepted all my financial aids, but i still paid the deposits. i think you should call UCSC to be sure.</p>
