<p>Well, I still haven’t been accepted yet, and I plan on attending UCR if I get accepted. The deadline to submit SIR is right around the corner, and I’ve been accepted to other UCs. How should I go about doing this?</p>

<p>Submit a SIR to another school and if you get into UCR you're out a couple hundred bucks.</p>

<p>It's OK if you SIR to another UC. You will be out the $100 if you decide to accept UCR later. My son submitted an SIR to another UC while waiting for an appeal decision. If your appeal is accepted, accept UCR's SIR and then cancel the other UC's SIR. Be sure to get a printout confirmation of UCR's SIR or a US Postal mailing receipt before you cancel the other UC's SIR.</p>
