Does it matter when you send the SIR in? Since it's by May 15th, I want to send it in later and see if any of my appeals went through

um, SIR is by May 1st, which is tomorrow.
i've appealed to a school too, but i've already sent in my SIR just in case.
you can always cancel it if you get appealed into another school~

Its Due By (5/1)

im not sure about this but from what i've heard...

you fill out your SIR anyways for the school you plan to go to, leaving out appeal possibilities. if any appeals go thru then you just call the school and apologize telling them that you won't be able to attend after all because of an appeal. You will only lose the initial deposit money of the SIR.

I think this is how it works... i heard this from somewhere. you might want someone to verify this info however just to make sure.

how come in my email it says may 15th?

Pacific: yes, that's exactly how it works.

you should definitely SIR to riverside by tomorrow even if you haven't heard from your appeals. because if you don't, and your appeal doesn't go through, then you will be left with no where to go to...

i don't know why your email says 15th, but its May 1st... for every school...

"here's a friendly reminder. . .

May 15 is SIR Deadline day. . .
Get ready to say "YES SIR" "

for all i know, its due 5/1

I think May 15th is for transfers not Freshman. I saw that they had a latter date

maybe mine is later since i got an acceptance later

I agree with bigboy. May 15 is for transfers and May 1 is for new incoming freshman.

It Is 5/15 (they Extended The Deadline)... Thanks For All The Responses!
