SIS log in info

We got an email about a week after applying with credentials to log into MyUva. But not any email specifically relating to the SIS system.

Did we miss something? Or is MyUva the same as SIS?

Heads up.

After some searching, it looks like some other people had their SIS email go straight into the spam folder.

I bet that is what happened. But since our spam folder auto-deletes after 30 days, if it was in there it is now gone.

Yikes my daughter created the MyUVa account and apparently didn’t know about SIS…and if the invite went to her junk folder it has long since been purged. Are decisions posted on SIS, or is that just for financial aid?

Decisions are posted in SIS.

Remember to add our email addresses to your address book to decrease the chances of your spam folder grabbing important emails! [From our application instructions](http://admission.virginia.edu/admission/instructions):

Please add both uvaapplicationinfo@virginia.edu and undergradadmission@virginia.edu to your address book so that important emails from us do not go to spam.

Make sure to check out the “After you submit” section of the application instructions for SIS info:

Within five business days of submitting an application, you should receive an email from the uvaapplicationinfo@virginia.edu containing your UVA Computing ID, UVA Student System ID, and a link to the login page for the University of Virginia Student Information System (SIS).

If you have not received an email within five business days of submitting an application, first check to be sure that the email is not in your spam file in your email account, then follow the “New User Access” procedure on the SIS login page.

Once you login, you will see a “To Do List” on the right-hand side of the page, listing remaining items required to complete your application to UVA. It can take several weeks to check all credentials in after the deadline. The mid-year report will remain on the “to do” list for Early Action applicants because we require updated grades for those who are admitted or deferred.
