Six Flags or Disney? (SoCal)

Tomorrow we don't have anything planned on our vacation, and we're trying to figure out whether to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain or Disneyland. We're staying in Dana Point/Laguna, so Six Flags is 1 and a half hours without traffic and Disney is half an hour. I love rollercoasters, but I also love Disney (who doesn't). Which park is going to be better on a Monday?

Thanks guys!

I prefer Six Flags, but you’re underestimating how long it will take you to get there. To get to Six Flags, you’ll have to go through LA traffic, not exactly a pleasant thought on a Monday morning. However Six Flags is MUCH cheaper than Disney. You might want to think about Knotts Berry Farm as it is both cheaper than Disneyland and closer than Six Flags. The roller coasters are pretty good, as are many of the other rides and attractions.

If you have any questions about what to do in Orange County, I lived very close to Laguna and Dana so I’m extremely familiar with the area.

@whenhen, yeah, LA traffic isn’t fun at all. I forgot about Knott’s. Not sure if that’s worth it as I live right near Carowinds which is similar to Knotts in the thrill level department. Food for thought though, thanks!
