I am very interested in becoming a physician assistant and I would like to know which would be a better choice, a six year program or a four-year college then apply to PA school. I know that a four year college then applying to PA school is very hard to do which is why I am confused and do not know what to do. Please help me!! Thanks

if i were you and i got in then i would go to the 6 yr program - takes off a lot of stress

Ok thank you! So just in general what do you think I would need to have as SAT and GPA scores to get into a pretty good six-year PA program. I also know there are not many six year programs which does make me a little nervous.

Guess what?! There are 5 year programs. My son is in one. He needed a B or higher in his high school science and math classes and a 23 on the ACT. Some programs required a 24 or 25 on the ACT. I’m not sure how that compares to the SAT. There are at least a dozen schools that offer the 5 year PA program, most being in Pennsylvania.
