since there are more on the rest of the college dorms, can anyone enlighten me on the dorms and apartments as the sixth college because i haven't heard a ton of positive stuff on it.

floor plans: [UC San Diego Housing - Sixth College](http://housing.ucsd.edu/sixth.asp)

for the res halls, there are 10 buildings, each housing around 50 people. there is a first floor and a second floor, with 2 suites on each floor (so 4 total suites). one floor is for guys, the other floor is for girls. as you can see from the floor plan above, the 2 suites on each floor are connected in the middle by a bathroom. on the first floor outside the suites is a kitchen, and on the second floor outside the suites is a study room.

right outside your rooms is the common room and there is a little lounge with couches and a metal cart where you can put a tv or something.

as for the apartments, i don’t know much about it. i just know the 2 story apartments are much better.

If you don’t mind a triple, the dorms should be fine. The community feel there is great so I here. As for the apartments, I’m in a single story one, and it’s just fine. If you want a single or a double and cannot take a triple, the apartments are just right.

Pretty sure Sixth is the only college that offers apartments to freshmen. So that’s cool. Our apartments are pretty nice too. Especially the second floor ones. Plus, you’re way close to the dining halls here.
