Keep in mind I am a new transfer student.

thanks guyss

That link is to the Sixth College General Education requirements checklist. If you’re a transfer student, you may (or may not) be able to waive some of those requirements. You’ll have to visit an adviser at Pepper Canyon Hall if you want a definitive answer.

You should have no problem reaching 60 upper division units - that’s only 15 4-unit courses. The requirements for your major - whatever your major is - will probably require you to take that many upper division units to graduate (if not more).

Keep in mind that you have to fulfill three checklists of requirements to graduate from ucsd: Sixth college GE’s (that link you posted, which includes a writing sequence called CAT), UCSD’s requirements (that you have to complete at least 180 units, etc.), and the requirements for your major (the specific classes you have to take to get your degree in biology, poli sci, whatever you are).
