i was so ecstatic to make it into 6th college until I was actually there to see it...

just from walking distance, it takes at least 5 minutes to walk from the price center all the way to the dorms of 6th college. The housing looks like military barracks you would see in movies. Once you set foot inside (well at least the room I looked at) there is a small common room shared between 5 double rooms. The common room has no windows, smells awful, the interior design is tarnished and dirty. I didn't get to see to much of the student's room because they didn't want to show it. Overall, I got a very bad impression of 6th, it was nothing like I expected it to be.

I visited last weekend and sixth was definately not that bad. There's a brochure that came in the mail called "living on campus" with housing info. It's white and yellow came a week or two ago. Inside at the bottom of the first page there's a picture of like 10 students all walking in a row on the grass carrying guitars and stuff. This is the grass in the center of the sixth dorms. It looks like a summer camp with a bunch of "log cabins" set in a circle around this field. It's in a quiet part of campus far from the main roads and paths (unlike the others). I didn't go inside but they looked like typical dorm rooms to me. And it definately wasn't a long walk to get to things.
