I'm a first year in sixth and i was wondering when we apply for second year housing. Also, how many people do the apartments fit? I know at least 4 and 5 but do they also fit six? Thanks

You’ll sign up sometime Spring quarter, so you have a long ways to go.

As far as I know, there are 3-person, 4-person (I think…not sure), and 5-person apartments. I’m pretty sure there aren’t 6-person apartments, but I could be wrong. I’m pretty sure the biggest size is 5.

Make sure you and the friends you’re going to live with get good sign up times. My suitemates and I (there were about 10 of us) wanted to stick together for our second years. Of course, we didn’t wait until the day of signing before sorting things out, and next thing you know we were split up 3, 2, 5 – instead of the 5 5 that we wanted.

You have plenty of time to sort things out though

I’m living in the Sixth College Apts right now. I think it depends wheather your living on the 1st or 2nd floors. The 2nd floor seems a bit bigger as there are two floors compared to the one floor you get from living on the 1st floor. They usually come in 3 single rooms and 1 double room, with a common area, 1 bathroom with seperate shower and a kitchen. The double room is the same size as the triple in the res halls
