<p>Agree with the last sentence (“typically”), but from my experience, the first sentence is too absolute. A few of the most selective schools with the most generous FA policies will treat transfers the same way they treat a fr admit. I don’t think this applies to the schools this particular OP can get into, but want to make this clear to other members reading this thread.</p>
