Size of Decision Letters

I have heard from some people who have recieved letters from Wake that they do not send a large packet for their acceptances. They say that the school sends everyone the same and same looking envelope. I do not know if this is true, does anyone else have info. reguarding this?

I had a friend who got in EA and he said it came in a regular envelope, then they send the packet afterwards.

Yeah, they definitely come in a normal letter sized envelope (mine did). Don't get alarmed at the envelope size.

Thanks for the info

lol good to know :)

My acceptance letter(RD) came in a large envelope with the word congratulations on the side.

team_venture, did you apply this year?

No, he didn't.

I applied last year.

My acceptance letter (ED) came in a small business-sized envelope. And a few days later I got my acceptance packet. It' so exciting, good luck all!

maybe the ED acceptances are regular sized because it is rolling, and the RD acceptances are big?

I was given the impression (just an impression) that admits are in larger envelopes.... that's all I know. We'll find out soon enough! They were mailed TODAY, I have confirmed and verified.

i've been at wake for a few years now, but as far as i know, every single year the acceptance letters and rejection letters come in a standard sized envelope. for parents looking to peek before their kids get home for school or anything, though, you should be able to hold it up to the light; the acceptance letters include a map of the school in them that'd be hard to miss. :) good luck everyone!

Mine was 2 years ago, but the way they did it then and last year was that they sent out a business sized envelope for the acceptance (with a campus map in it).

Then, if you decide to attend, they will send you three separate packets of information about housing, etc...one a month, in May, June, and July.

Wake Forest and their mind games...haha.

RD Acceptances are large white envelopes that say Welcome To Wake Forest on the front. (it has a little Wake Forest banner thing)
