Size of freshman math science classes

Can anyone tell me how large the intro math, physics, computer science classes are at Purdue
Thanks

Classes such as MA 162/165 (Calc courses) will typically have large lectures (100+ kids) that meet ~ 3 times a week, with a recitation (~30 kids) that meets 1-2 times a week. However, there are some math classes taught by Ph.D. students or non-tenured professors that are small (~ 30 students) that also have recitation (~ 30 students). You can tell by how many slots are available while registering. I never took a math course in a large lecture hall (by coincidence only).

Generally, the intro courses that are in question are set in large lecture classes–easily more than 100, probably closer to 200 (Don’t quote me). There are recitations (At least in math), usually around 30 students, that are led by graduate TA’s. These usually focus on homework questions and quizzes for the class.
