Ok, this may seem like a random trivial question, but it does affect packing.

How large are the washers? Are they ginormous like at home, or are they tiny like on a cruise ship or hotel? Like a week's worth of jeans and shirts, right?

The ones in ERC were normal sized… we crammed a lotttt into those haha.

how mush does it cost per wash load?? like how many quarters should i bring??

Do they have vending machines for the detergent?

bring our own detergent/drying cloths, and it costs 1.00 per wash and .75 per dry, i usually combined two loads of wash per dryer though, and instead of scrounging for quarters all the time think about using tritoncash, its really convenient especially when the quarter slots are jammed, and im pretty sure they use all the same washers/dryers throughout the whole campus, the only place it might be different is the new transfer housing

Thanks, good info. I didn’t know that triton cash worked at the washing machines.

Along those lines, is there any need for cash while on campus?

If you’re a freshman with a dining plan, you don’t really need cash other than Burger King/Yogurtland runs when you get bored and some coins for ScanTron/Bluebook stuff at testing time.

Also… cash/quarters are handy when you get locked out of your room and have to pay the $1 fee to get the spare key :)

Ok, thanks. Keep some coin around, but triton cash covers almost everything.

Is there any transaction detail available on your triton cash account, or it is one of those “I wonder what the heck happened to my balance” nightmares every month?

you can check your balance online here – https://services.jsatech.com/index.php?cid=212
