Size

People always talk about size as an important feature of the college. What are the advantages and disadvantages of small, medium, and large student bodies. Thanks!

at small schools, class sizes are smaller so you get more personal attention from professors. also, youll get to know most people at a small school. at large schools, you probably wont be on a first name basis with professors, and there will always be new faces. medium sized schools will probably be more like large schools as well.

Bosox highlights some of the advantages (and disadvantages) of small schools. Larger schools are indeed more impersonal (some students actually thrive on anonymity) and, if properly budgeted, generally offer more course and EC variety.
