Hello,

I'm attempting to shop for bedding. Does anyone know the exact dimensions of the beds in the dorms? I know to shop for Twin XL, but there seems to be different depths offered for bedding and I cannot seem to find the the depth of the beds at the main campus.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I’ve never bought twin-XL sheets but got tshirt-material or polarplus material (for winter obviously) in twin that had some stretch to it, and wasn’t a problem fitting. If you call Panther Central they might have a mattress depth number for you - but most kids put a memory foam topper (we used 2") on those basic mattresses, so keep that in mind.

The standard mattress aren’t terribly thick. I would say 8 inches or so. If you buy just a standard Twin XL sheet set, it will work fine. We got ours at Target.

I suggest checking Target as well, Room Essentials is super cheap and makes a lot of cool patterns as well as solid colors in Twin XL. The material is cheaper of course but mine lasted fine the entire year. My sheets did rip once in the last month of my first year but that was because my bed was really high and it was difficult to change them, I just pulled too hard. Anyways, I had an eggcrate pad and a mattress protector on top of my Pitt mattress and the twin XL sheets from Target fit perfectly. Pitt’s mattresses are very thin and boxy to begin with.
