@SQL123: None of the Cal states require or accept LOR’s. I have linked the documents you need to send once you are accepted. Check your portal to make sure the request for any of these documents is not needed now for your application review.

As an international applicant, I wasnt able to input any of my courses on the CSU portal when I applied, and some of th CSUs immediately asked me for transcripts, while CSUF had CSULB just asked me after I emailed them saying I had no status update for 3 months, to which they replied that they need academic information from me ( CSUF still didnt update to do list in portal tho). I sent an email asking SJSU if they needed documents since it’s been 3 months and they have no academic info and they still hant replied. It’s been 10+ days. I even sent up a follow up reminder mail
What should I do? I heard SJSU decisions are going out soon possible but they have no academic information to evaluate me on?? They havent updated my to do list on my portal or sent a mail regarding my application status and needed documents. Is SJSU always this slow to reply?
If possible, I would call and talk to someone in charge of International admissions.

I think there’s a huge possibility! I went through last year’s thread and people started posting about receiving decisions around the third Friday in February. If not, then perhaps Monday because the year before that they came out on the fourth Monday in February.

sjsu just posted on twitter that some undergrad applicants will receive admissions decisions starting next week and the rest will be through march, even though their website said admissions decisions would be sent out in the last week of february. guess i should stop checking the website 10 times a day to see if i’ve gotten in then lol

Fall 2021 undergrad applicants: #SJSU will begin posting admission notices soon! Check your MySJSU account throughout February and March for updates. Freshmen admission decisions will begin as early as next week, and transfer admission decisions will begin in late February.

the tweet was posted a few days ago so by “next week” they meant this week, the last week of february which is when the decisions were supposed to come out anyway. the only thing is that they’re purposely being really vague about the timing now which is annoying so i think we can expect decisions through all of march too if we don’t get them this week. i really wish they would just give us a date so i don’t have to keep stressing
I’m an intl applicant and I emailed them a few days back asking them if they needed any documents since they haven’t asked at all. ( as an intl applicant I couldn’t update courses into the CSU app). All the other CSUs have asked me for transcripts but not SJSU. If they’re planning to send decisions soon, wouldnt they need me to send stuff to evaluate me on? I emailed them and they said theyll ask it when needed…but when is that? This seems so last minute and it takes a week to go through. Giving me a lot of anxiety
