SJSU has withdrawn my application for failure to meet the "golden four"?? Engineering transfer

hey guys,
I am a computer engineering major applying to SJSU as a " high unit major" transfer. I currently have about 75 transferable units. on the calstate.edu website and the SJSU.edu website both state that those transferring to certain universities with Engineering or certain science majors have the opportunity to have the A3 exemption from their golden four. The A3 is considered one of the golden four where it covers the critical thinking portion. They state this can be waived for transfer students and can be taken at the university before graduation.

I just received a letter from MYSJSU email portal saying that my application has been withdrawn because I failed to meet the golden four requirements, specifically, the A3, because in three out of the four I have A, A, A. It says to appeal, but I feel like an appeal is something more for my end, but it seems to be ignoring its own rules stated everywhere on those sites. what should I do, does anybody have any experience dealing with this sort of thing. I am transferring over from Evergreen Valley College into SJSU Computer Engineering, with a backup major being Civil Engineering. Any input is appreciated, thank you!

Looks like you may need to ask directly.

Yeah, that’s my plan first things Monday. I just wanted to know if it is appropriate to go to the preadmissions center and talk to the lady who withdrew my application. I just want to do this appropriately reaching out to the right person. I even emailed the preadmission counselor fromSJSU back in November 2017 to see if I should take that class this semester. So that is another proof of an SJSU counselor in email format saying no. I just hope that they can retract the withdrawal and not say " Well sir they were all incorrect in telling you that and they all misinformed you". I just hope this can all get resolved asap, and I got midterms this week, no pressure! lol.
