SJSU in Spring or wait for better universities in Fall

I have got a 312 score on the GRE with 152-V 160-Q.
I stay close to San Jose, so I'm tempted to apply for Spring season at San Jose State University for MS in Computer Science; its proximity to Silicon valley is the greatest advantage but the university reputation outside Silicon valley is not great. Please let me know if i should choose SJSU or try for a few ambitious universities like UCSB /USC /UCD and if i get through one of them, then wait for another 7 months to join in the fall.

It all depends on where you want your first job. After your first job, it does not matter where you got your Masters. If you think you will be working in Silicon Valley as a first step, then SJSU is a perfectly fine choice and you can get started right away.
