SJSU or UCDavis?

Currently I am a community college that got accepted to SJSU for civil engineering. I was thinking about going there but am afraid of not being able to find classes and because the unit cap. When I come in Fall 2014 there will a 14 unit cap and am just uncomfortable about this in general. I am considering waiting another year to apply to different schools such as UCD or UCB, but don't want to take another year at community college. If I went to UCD, UCB, or SJSU would it be hard to find classes? How about SJSU? My assumption is that at the UC's. Right now I just want to finish school and get a job and don't care about prestige. The only reason I'm considering UCD or UCB is because I'm afraid of not getting classes at SJSU. Also from my impression I see that going to UCD or UCB won't make it easier to find a job than SJSU. What I hear is that it is more important to focus on getting internship and work experience. Also I'm not considering any other schools, just those 3. What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance for any input.

What’s your GPA? Civil Engineering is very selective at Berkeley. I believe it has an 8.5% acceptance rate. If you can get into there, then you might want to consider their overall program.
