<p>Is there anywhere around Ithaca that has a fair stock of hockey skates for sale? It doesn't have to be some general sporting goods store, either.</p>

<p>I don’t know about Ithaca since I would always take a trip up to McKie sports in Syracuse for the quality hockey gear.</p>
<p>What would be the easiest way to get to Syracuse? I’m having issues with finding buses.</p>
<p>eh, would be a pain for just skates, you’d have to find your way to the fairgrounds for McKie sports. There must be something in Ithaca (IHS has a very good hockey program), I’m just not sure where. At worst, order online from hockeymonkey or something.</p>

<p>Oh my gosh, definitely try The Rink (aka the Community Recreation Center). I know that they sell hockey sticks and equipment, so I’d imagine that they sell hockey skates as well.
It’s in Lansing, which really isn’t too far from Ithaca–it’s maybe about 8 minutes or so away from the mall. I figure skate there, and I know that the Ithaca High School hockey team practices there; it’s really a great place to go for anything related to skating.
