Skidmore Round 1 ED?

Ethanthefreak, I feel the exact same way. I still haven’t gotten back anything. Even though I love Skidmore, i’m very frustrated. A couple of my friends who applied ED and live in NJ still haven’t gotten it either. In any event, we will know by Friday but the wait is killing me.

I got mine yesterday (I was accepted!), but I really wouldn’t worry too much it’ll come. You can’t blame the school either it’s all in the postal services hands now.

Still nothing in the mail…i’m from new jersey too. I’d be really surprised if nothing came tomorrow.

It definitely sounds like there was a glitch with the NJ post office end of things. I’m so sorry you guys are having to wait!! I know it was excruciating for my daughter to wait to Tuesday even!! But SURELY it’ll arrive today and think positive - it WILL be good news. Let us know - good luck to everyone!

I chased down the mailman today and got my letter finally! And I got in :)

Hahahaha. I chased the mailman too. I got in as well!!! Congratulations to everybody accepted!!!

yeah!!! Congrats to all! 2014 is going to be a great class and you are all going to have a fantastic college experience. Work hard and get involved from the start - NO REGRETS! GO FOR IT! Good luck to you all!!!

My son was deferred and so disappointed. He is still hopeful he’ll get in. Can any of you who got in (also those who didnt get in) give us some of your stats, so we can get an idea of how they’re deciding this. Congratulations to all of you who got in.

hey! im applying this year ED and just out of interest if any of those accepted could post stats itd be awesome!

Hey everyone. I applied ED 1 three weeks ago. i am SUPER nervous. waiting does suck. i got a letter from them saying that i will receive my acceptance letter by december 15th, is there any possibilities i will get it earlier? i just hate waiting.

My son is among those waiting to hear, and anticipating something will be mailed out around 12/15.

My daughter is also waiting. I spoke to admissions last week and they said that they were mailing the decisions out today (Monday). Good luck!

Thanks for the info, So close! I’m on the west coast, though. I guess I have a few more days of waiting…

I did! I think we are supposed to find out around tomorrow (or at least sometime this week) but there is not an exact date i don’t think because they do it by mail and not online. I’m so nervous!

My son got a letter today and was accepted. Good luck to those still waiting to check the mail. He said there was a folder with YES in yellow on the envelope. For a sense of timing, we are in VT, so pretty close by. Again, good luck to all!

ah, congrats! and good to know that theyre definitely in the mail. This next day or two of waiting is going to feel like forever

can those of you who applied ED1 please post your gpa, ap classes taken, a very brief summary of your extracurriculars and whether or not you got in? i’m a prospective junior who plans on applying ED1 next fall. thanks.
