<p>Hey i was wondering how the skiing and snowboarding is up at BU? Since it snows all the time im hoping they have some places to go but i also heard that they have no mountains near buffalo?</p>
<p>its UB… but yeah skiing/snowboarding is great… holiday valley (really fun) is fairly close and i’d be almost positive the school takes bus trips to the mountains… but the skiing is great im not exactly sure how far away it is but i don’t think its too bad…</p>

<p>there are many ski resorts around buffalo. i haven’t been to one. but one of the reasons i decided to come to buffalo is the boarding :D</p>
<p>The ski places are about an hour to 90 min. drive from UB. Kissing Bridge is closer and alittle smaller than Holiday Valley. I believe that UB sponsors a ski club and run a bus once a week. Ski season is usually good in Jan and Feb, about 8 weeks of good snow here. Also a couple of good places for tubing, skating, cross country skiing and sledding around.</p>
<p>ohh thats sick so they provide the ride to the mountain also??! that would make my life so much easier…oh man and i saw on a brochure today that they have karate clubs …iv never done it before but im so pumped i wanna join and become a master karate man so i can break bricks and stuff sooo cool</p>

It’s $150 yr if you join early.
They have special trips but also ski during weeknights at Kissing Bridge and I think one weekend day.
Bus transportation is provided.</p>

<p>MPM5236…no i havent sent my deposit yet. Im going to wait before I see the school on the 17th before I do that just incase, for what ever reason I don’t like it…in that case i would prob be stuck going to stony brook. What about you?</p>
