Skiing??

i love to ski, and davis is like…2 hours away from tahoe, right?
are there any ski clubs// student organizations… anything?

how often would i be able to ski/ how do people get there?
and do the mountains have student ticket discounts?

thanks lots,
this is pretty much my deciding factor between davis and ucsd =P

Yes they do! I discovered this one day when I was looking up snowboarding at Davis.

Help these help!

“The Aggies took home the women’s ski-cross championship at the 2010 National Championships on March Mar. 6 in Newry, Maine.” :D

I see many of my friends often coming back from Tahoe… if this helps. lol

Die hards with perfect class schedules can ski every weekend. The ski club is the biggest club on campus (I think!). I think it was Boreal that had $10 Fridays for students.

My D is a snowboarder and really only managed to board on the major holiday weekends this past year. I know she would like to do more…but mid-terms come first!

But UCD is a great school if you want to be on the slopes in 2 hours!

yeah, this is pretty much the deciding factor between davis and sb, right now, i can’t imagine being able to get up there too often while trying to do chem e and it being 2 hours away. is anyone able to chime in who knows what it’s like for people who want to be at tahoe all the time? how often?
