<p>Should I skip AP Calculus AB next year (as a junior) and go straight to AP Calc BC? On a scale of 1-10, how difficult is AB? and BC?
I'm in Honors Precalculus right now.</p>
<p>I did the exact same thing, except I’m a Senior right now. In terms of admissions, it makes no difference whether or not you’re in BC Junior year, but if you want the challenge, go for it. If you’re good at math, you can get at least a 4 on the test by self studying for it. I suggest Princeton Review’s.</p>

<p>AB is extremely easy. The class moves sooo slow… So take BC for sure.</p>
<p>At my school, slackers dominate AB because the class is insanely easy. Bottom line, take BC.</p>
<p>OP, does your school require AB before BC? If not, then I’d say skip straight to BC. BC is just AB + Series, so it’s not that much different.</p>
