skipping freshmen year

IDK, I know I want to come to UVA. And I'm going to do 3 IB HL's (math, bio, history). I can get a maximum of 19 credits for these courses if I do well on the exams. Is this enough to skip all of freshmen year?

30 credits = one year

It’s more like skipping one of your middle two years than skipping your first year. Regardless of how many credits you come in with, you’ll still be a first year during your first two semesters.

haha i’m in the same boat; if I get all 4s on my APs I’ll have 28 credits lol.

my sister graduated in 3 years and she only had 20 AP credits (she did a couple summer courses one year i think)

do people graduate early often? and if it is feasible, would most of you recommend doing it?

I don’t think it would be tough to graduate a year or semester early if you entered with 0 credits, but it’s probably not the right decision for most people.

I’d rather enjoy the full four year experience in UVA than getting out earlier into this economic mess…
