SL Math vs Math Studies

<p>My daughter wants to go into international business. She is finished grade 11 in SL math and really struggled. She is considering dropping down to math studies for her senior year, but is worried about how US colleges will look at that. Does anyone know if US colleges are concerned about which level of IB math she takes? She will receive a full IB diploma and a IB bilingual diploma. </p>

<p>For business she needs to stick with SL math. Maybe get her extra help if she is struggling? Math studies is looked down upon by many universities and it is not very advisable to take it. </p>

<p>I agree with Remi. Unfortunately, many colleges(at least the more prestigious ones) say they do not consider Math Studies an acceptable course. </p>
