Slanket V snuggie (as seen on TV product thread)

The Slankets : THE SLANKET, THE BEST BLANKET EVER

These have to be the creepiest products I have ever seen. They are supposed to be blankets with sleeves, but they make you look like a medieval executioner, or a big fat slob. I am surpised that not only are there things like this, but that there is enough market share for there to be competing lines of sleeved blankets.

Whats your favorites As seen on TV product.

Probably that one. When they suggest that you can wear them out and about, and they show the family in them at a football game or something, I literally fell off the couch laughing. If that happened in real life, I would set far, FAR away.

and in the testimonials, it says that one person proposed via slanket pocket:

“My boyfriend and I have been talking about getting Slankets for weeks, but hadn’t yet bought them. I came home on Saturday, and he said he got us early Valentine’s Day presents- Slankets! He had his on, and gave me mine. Turns out, he had had his mother sew pockets into mine, and inside the pocket was an engagement ring… He asked, and I said yes! Proposal via Slanket… what could be better?!”

LOLOLOLLOL i saw somebody at a store the other day IN A SNUGGIE!!!

thatz totally what the economy needs. a more expensive robe :)

seriously, in the ad where theyre at the ball game it totally is KKKish :-p

Perfect for cults

http://www.bareflix.com/stonecutters/Stonecutter_homer.jpg

**** yes, they look awesome.

I’ll take twenty.

Stone Cutters = secret society, not cult

But yeah, those blankets totally make a person look like a cult member.

It’s one of those things where it’s okay to wear at home but not in public.

are there any other crazy products.

Actually my mom and I bought one for my grandfather last year. lol
He was for the most part confined to a bed at a nursing home but still wanted to read the paper. His room was always to cold. he could keep his arms warm while reading something with a blanket wrapped around him, and his robe didn’t keep his feet warm. He actually liked it too.

I woudln’t get one for myself though. I think that wearing a sweater and grabbing a blanket are enough for me.

“The high intensity discharge lights washed the steel vault in an antiseptic glow. Cold gray walls as thick as the armor of a battleship. Each man had his own reason for being there, that night. Yet they all shared one common interest. When the last seal on the door had been cracked, their treasure was revealed, The Slanket, in Castlerock Grey.”

“Rich and juicy, the apricot slanket bursts with color. Apricots have always been jealous of the soft fuzz of the peach, but now with the apricot Slanket, the tables have been turned. Plump with color and softer than the softest peach, this slanket exceeds the best that nature’s fruit has to offer. Apricot pit not included. The Slanket offers no nutritional value. Eat your fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables not included.”

“The cool temperate rain forests of the Pacific Northwest are home to the legendary Sasquatch, aka Bigfoot. Some speculate that Sasquatch is really the ancient ape, Gigantopithecus blacki. Either way we know one thing, when the beast kicks back after a night of roaming the lush forest, he snuggles in with a Moss Green Slanket. Comfort for every creature.”

I know what I want for Christmas!

Edit: Sorry for copying and pasting so much. But I was really amused by these so I wanted to share. Plus, the image of Bigfoot snuggling in with a Moss Green Slanket at night made me laugh out loud.

OP-Thanks. Now I have ads for it on the top banner lol  it’s the first time I’ve seen this one.

My favorite is My 'Lil Reminder. The product itself really isn’t a bad idea; it’s just a voice recorder. But the commercial is so funny. All the people record the simplest things (“I need butter, eggs, and milk.”) and then play them back. When they play back the messages, the hold this recorder thing up to their ears and look like locos. It’s quite humorous.

I told my friends that I wanted one of those(snuggie) and how I would be tempted to wear it to school since I’m always cold.

HAHAHAHA a girl in my cws (its like history) class came in one day raving about slankets. hahahahaha the best.
