My son just received a declination update for SLE. He applied on the day it opened in January and had been pending until today.Will attend Boys State and will be an AI at Norwich FLC, got wait listed for Navy summer and will keep going! I keep hearing different takes on being declined. Those who were declined and still received an appointment the next year what were the things you worked to improve the most. Thank you all so much
Boys state on his transcript will help him get into Wp as WP looks very favorably on it. SLE is not a factor for WP admissions.

I’ve sat on congressional academy selections, they won’t know he declined and boys state is a good reason to decline
