Does anybody have a really weird sleep pattern that they adopt during the school year?

For example, does anyone sleep as soon as they get home until a certain time, then stay up until the school day?

My sleep schedule is not working. Or, er, lack of schedule. It's so sporatic that I can honestly fall asleep at any time of the day for 8 hours. And then I catch up on weekends and while my weekends are relaxing (and, because I get so much sleep, antisocial) I'm still constantly tired. Espresso helps but, you know, I think this is unhealthy or something. :P

I take 15-20min naps right after school. I do homework for 2-3 hours. Then, I have class again until 9pm and I get home 30mins later.
I go home and waste time/sleep for 2 hours or so and eat dinner.
I might sleep/rest for another hour and then wake-up automatically around 1am.
I go back to sleep around 3-4am after doing some work and then I start my day at 8am after waking up at 5 then at 6 then at 7. -_- This is for about 3days of my week.
Thursdays I sleep around 10-11pm and on Fridays - I sleep for 10 consecutive hours and same goes for Saturday. I usually don't have much work to do on Thursdays except maybe studying for a quiz/test and my weekends are always nice.

yep my schedule is weird like no other. I take a 30 min. nap right after school on most days and i usually get up and run or play b-ball afterwards then spend the rest of the evening procrastinating until around 8:30 when i start hwk. I usually go to sleep at 12 but sometimes i go at 11 if im lucky, then i wake up at 5:30ish for school and do it all over again on the weekends im usually busy so i cant catch up then either... and yep i am constantly tired but im so used to it that it doesnt effect me too much

I have a friend who goes to sleep at around 8 pm and wakes up at 2-3 am to do homework. It's insane because she doesn't go back to sleep after that

I have a pretty weird (and at times strangely primitive schedule):

get home from school at 4:30, take a nap (these may vary from 2 hours to 5 hours), wake up and eat dinner, do homework and finish up around 1 or 2 ( If I have a heavy load or 2 tests the next day, I stay up all night) otherwise I go to sleep and wake up at 6:30.

I'm a big fan of the go to bed early, wake up early routine, but that might just be my situation. The only computer in the house is right near my mom's room and she's a super light sleeper. She hates it when I stay up late, so she basically forces me to go to bed early (10-11pm) but of course this is in the same breath as telling me that I need to ace the next English test, but WHATEVER. Anyway, so I come home after ECs and all that, do the work that needs to be done on the computer, finish up at about 9pm, talk on the phone or IM or watch a movie until 10pm then go to bed at 10:30. My mom's happy, and sleep is nice. Then, depending on how much work I have left to do, I wake up at 3-4am and do homework in my room until I leave for school at 7.

This system has been working for me, because I tend to procrastinate if I work at night, but in the morning I can work, as long as I get my coffee. It also works because this year most of my homework does not require a computer. Oh, and this way, I only feel like I'm about to crash right after school/work when, if I really need to, I can sleep, as opposed to my last year schedule of stay-up-late when I would feel like dying right during period 2 Calculus.

I usually get home around 6 from my ECs (soccer) and then eat something. After that, ill come sit on the computer or in front of the tv and waste my time until around midnight then go to bed. Ill wake up around 4 and do homework until about 7 30. I wish i didnt procrastinate and actually did my homework before i went to sleep but for some reason it never seems to work for me. When i wake up in the morning to do my homework im usually much more efficient. You just have to figure out if youre a night or morning person.

I love being a senior and able to come home during study hall, haha. I get home about 2:40, and either relax and do some homework until 5. I eat dinner 5-6 (Gilmore Girls, my mom and I are addicted). Depending, I either fall asleep about 6 - 8 or 9, or I relax or procrastinate. (Unless it's a Gilmore Girl's night (Tuesday), I do homework) Wake up, walk my dog, shower, and then do homework until about 3am. Then sleep until 7:15-30am.

I also love being a senior, though at my school, everyone has open-campus study hall. I get done with class at 2:00, come home and hang out/sleep until 6:00 or so, then eat dinner, and do my homework while IMing. It's pretty much the worst system imaginable. I go to sleep between 12:30 and 1:30 and wake up at 6:00.

wow i guess i sort of have a normal schedule:
get home at 3
don't do anything till 6 for dinner
eat for 1 or .5 hours
do hwk until 9-10:30
sleep till 6:10(unless i have to go to the bathroom)

some time i want to try taking a nap when i get home and get up earlier

Monday: Go to bed at 8:30, wake up at 2 or 3 AM depending on the amount of homework I have.

Tuesday - Thursday: Go to bed at 6:00, wake up at 2 or 3 AM depending on the amount of homework I have.

Friday: Go out with friends until 12:00 or 1:00 AM, let myself in with a key, waste time until 3:00 or 4:00 AM.

Saturday: SLEEP UNTIL MID AFTERNOON; bed at 11:00 PM.

Sunday: Wake up at 2:00 PM, sleep at 1:00 AM.

And repeat.

It's pretty strange and eratic but I have a system worked out. The only problem with it is that my parents complain about me waking them up at odd hours. They want me to function like a normal person but I can't help it! I'm physically adjusted to be an uncannily early riser during the week and a partier on the weekends!

Get home at 1:30.
Sleep until 7 or 8.
Relax watch TV or whatever until 12 or 1.
Sleep until 4 or 5.
Start my HW.
Get ready for school at 6.
Leave for school at 6:30.

hmm...
weekdays : get home at 4 - 4:15, procrastinate for an hour or two, then I usually have work or some extracurricular starting around 6 (can last 1-3 hours); get back home, eat dinner, and start lazily doing work/IMing people, get finished hw usually between 2 and 4 am. Wake up at 7

Fridays - get home between 2 and 3:30, grab a snack or go to mall with friends or something, work from 5-8, get home, eat dinner, sleep at 10, wake up, depending on how much sleep i lost during the week - between 11am and 2 pm

Saturdays - wake up between 11-2, go out with friends and such, bed between 1 am and 4 am, wake up Sundays noon to 2pm

Sundays - hw all day. bed...between 2 and 4 am. wake up at 7 on mondays.

i try very hard to stick to my weekday schedule of going to bed at 11pm and waking up at 5:30am, but most nights i don't get to bed until at least midnight. i still have to get up at 5:30 every morning though, ugh.

what i've started doing is taking a nap as soon as i'm done with classes/activities for the day, and waking up for dinner at 6pm, then doing homework/studying until midnight. what i'm going to start doing, though, is completely crashing on weekends. i think the reason why i'm sleeping right after i'm done with classes is because i'm only getting maybe 5 hours sleep a night, and i've developed a kind of "sleep deficit". so, my new plan, that i started putting into practice on saturday: go to bed at around midnight, wake up at 5:30 and drink lots of coffee every weekday morning, and weekends, i go to bed at midnight and sleep until 3pm.

I do the sleep right when I get home. I get about 3-4 hours of sleep on schools days and make up for all of it friday and saturday nights(also during class) I really need to learn to fix this though..

I'm a boarding school student, so given that there are rules on lights out times and I have a roomate, my sleeping habits aren't too outrageous. But, I usually go to sleep at around 11pm( lights out time for underclassmen) and then I wake up at 4:30am and study in the dorm's hallway or common area. Get showered and dressed at around 6:45am,study more afterwards, and then head to the dining hall for breakfast. I do my homework from 7:30-9:30pm, take a break, and then study more from about 10-11pm.
