My sleep ethic dictates that I never go to sleep past midnight. It usually ends up being around 11:30 for me, and I have to wake up at 6:30 for school so that gives me about 7 hours of sleep. Not bad considering most of my friends go to sleep around 3:00 AM.

lol. This saturday, i stood up until 3 am catching up in AP Calculus. I slacked off a bit, and i finally realized how stupid i was to procrastinate. After studying intensely on saturday, i am now caught up!!!!!!!!!!!

:)

Good for you!

I think we are slowly becoming the next generation of androids that stay up all night for increased productivity. :) What if humans come to an evolutionary point where they don't require sleep?

I think I have reached that point already... you need to catch yourself up.

True, true. But some people still do need to sleep.

I mean as a race, if the trait of sleeping was completely erased, like the use for an appendix.

I agree, people on average have been getting less sleep. Apparently the average is 7 hours when the average human being needs 9.5 to function optimally.

I don't know what kind of person even has time for 7...

Slackers, obviously.

:) I think you're on to something...

Junior or senior?

omg-- you're 14 how in the world are you up so late every night?

Magic, perhaps. :D

lol-- no, but why are you up so late every night?

I'm "pulling an all-nighter"; working on some essays.

lol-- i'm skipping school tomorrow to finish my art project.

I've been at it all weekend and if it's not done by tuesday I fail art. If it's done I'll most likely get 100 in that class.

Oh my gosh...

Tsk Tsk.... I'm 14, and i have AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, and AP World History. And i have ACT's February, college admissions (yes, already) for University of Washington, and extracurriculars.

Wow, very nice! You are quite gifted, I must say. :)

And you guys are way too stressed about college admissions :)

I basically slacked off until junior year, when I went semi-crazy with school and I got into the 34th ranked school in the country (University of Rochester). Don't worry about it... enjoy yourself :)

I sometimes just stay up all night for the hell of it. Seriously. When I have school though I get about 1-2 hours, 4 hours if I'm lucky.

Oh my god! I'm going to sleep 10:00 pm today. That is seriously a first :)

I went to sleep at 8:00 last night, and I got up at 5:00; my alarm goes off at 6:20. That's the first time I woke up before my alarm :D .

I usually try to go to sleep by ten; last night it was eleven because I had practice and then had to come home and study for two tests.

Overall, I'm not that stressed. I get enough sleep. I know a girl who usually only gets two or three hours.
